Key Accountabilities

• Execute data changes through backend database scripts or validated in-house tools.
• Create Data Change Guides and determine risk and impact assessments.
• Create DTS packages for study database imports.
• Write and execute SQL queries against Microsoft SQL databases for transfers and reports.
• Execute SAS queries when needed for data extraction.
• Deliver client-requested database transfer datasets.
• Participate in study implementation and maintenance meetings.
• Follow procedures for data change management, transfer verification, and risk documentation.
• Create stored procedures for data-driven IXR system changes when needed.
• Monitor data across multiple databases and verify requested changes and transfer datasets.
• Provide some data entry and scheduled after-hours on-call technical support.
• Participate in special data-related projects.

Essential Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience working in a data-driven environment.
• In-depth SQL knowledge and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with data mining and data presentation techniques.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Comfort working with business users and technical teams.

Desirable Qualifications

• Excellent written communication for documenting procedures, processes, and results.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with C# or Visual Basic.
• Familiarity with GCP and 21 CFR Part 11.
