Role Overview

Join Brand Collective's Technology team as a Data Analyst and help turn data into trusted insight and AI-ready information across Retail, Digital, Omnichannel, and Marketing.

The role builds the Group data lake/lakehouse and supports major AI initiatives, including the Merchandise Financial Planning program.

Work across POS, ERP, eCommerce, CRM, Marketing, and Finance data to bring together, model, and validate information and business definitions.

Help establish trusted data definitions, improve data quality and governance, build self-service reporting, and identify automation opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Play a lead role in executing the Data Platform strategy, supporting development of the Group data lake/lakehouse through data mapping, source analysis, and requirements gathering.
  • Prepare, cleanse, model, and validate data across POS, ERP, eCommerce, CRM, Marketing, and Finance systems.
  • Design semantic models and centralise metric logic, calculations, and business rules for consistent, reusable definitions of core business metrics and KPIs.
  • Support AI initiatives, including preparing data for MFP forecasting models, tracking model accuracy, and assessing data readiness for new use cases.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting across Retail, Digital, Omnichannel, and Marketing.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and issues, translating findings into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Partner with Technology and business stakeholders to improve data quality, governance, and data literacy, automate manual reporting, and maintain data dictionaries and lineage.

About You

  • 3-5+ years' experience in data analysis, ideally within Retail, eCommerce, omnichannel, Marketing, or Finance environments.
  • Advanced SQL skills with strong data modelling experience, ideally including dimensional/star schema.
  • Strong Power BI capability, including DAX and data modelling, or equivalent BI expertise.
  • Experience working with multi-brand, multi-channel data and an understanding of retail and commercial KPIs.
  • Exposure to modern cloud data platforms, data lake/lakehouse projects, or data governance initiatives.
  • An interest in AI/ML and experience supporting use cases such as forecasting, merchandise planning, personalisation, or generative AI.
  • Strong data storytelling and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear, commercially relevant recommendations.

Perks

  • Pet-friendly workspace.
  • Product allowance and generous discounts up to 50% off brands like Reebok, Superdry, and Elka Collective.
  • Exclusive LK Group discounts.
  • Access to sample sales.
  • Celebration leave, paid parental leave, and volunteer leave.
  • Novated leasing.
  • Loyalty rewards and service awards.
  • Corporate discount on health cover and free access to mental health professionals through the Employee Assistance Program.
