About This Role
Summary
This role focuses on leading the Data & AI strategy for a centralized smart city data platform associated with Expo 2030 in Riyadh, ensuring effective collaboration among various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Defining data & AI strategy, target-state architecture, and analytics roadmap
- Designing centralized smart city data platforms and real-time analytics capabilities
- Driving AI/ML use cases including forecasting, operational optimization, and predictive analytics
- Establishing data governance, integration, interoperability, and API strategies
- Assessing vendor landscape across cloud, analytics, AI/ML, governance, and integration platforms
- Supporting RFI/RFP processes, vendor evaluation, and procurement activities
- Collaborating with government entities, operators, and delivery partners within a complex multi-stakeholder environment
Must Haves
- Prior Expo or mega-event experience
- Strong background in enterprise data platforms and analytics
- Experience in digital transformation strategy and vendor ecosystem assessments
- Proven stakeholder management
- Nice to Haves:
- Experience with public-sector digital platforms
- Exposure to large-scale operational environments
