  • Analyse source systems, APIs, and data feeds, assessing data quality, structure, and suitability for analytics and AI use cases
  • Design and document analytics‐focused data models, including dimensional models and star schemas
  • Produce source‐to‐target mappings, business rules, and transformation logic to support data engineering and analytics delivery
  • Work closely with data engineers, architects, and AI specialists to ensure requirements are well understood and effectively delivered
  • Engage confidently with both business and technology stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and translator between worlds
  • Support the evolution of data products over time, incorporating feedback, learning, and changing business needs

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Analytics Consultant within data, analytics, or AI programmes

  • Understanding of modern data platforms and analytics architectures, ideally within Microsoft or cloud‐based ecosystems
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non‐technical audiences
