Overview

A leading organisation within a critical infrastructure environment is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst to join its Cyber Intelligence function. This role focuses on proactively identifying, analysing, and mitigating cyber threats across both IT and OT environments, supporting a 24/7 security operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging attack trends
• Conduct threat intelligence gathering and produce actionable insights for stakeholders
• Track and assess threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
• Develop and maintain Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and support detection capabilities
• Provide intelligence reports, briefings, and strategic recommendations
• Support SIEM enhancements, including correlation rules and use-case development
• Work closely with SOC teams to investigate suspicious activity and improve detection
• Contribute to threat modelling and cyber defence strategies
• Stay up to date with evolving cyber threats and technology landscapes
• Participate in incident response and be available for on-call support when required

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT, with 4+ years in threat intelligence
• Strong understanding of threat intelligence frameworks and methodologies
• Experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms
• Knowledge of malware analysis, threat hunting, and incident response
• Exposure to OT/ICS environments is highly desirable
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCTI, GCFA or similar are preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
