Role and work arrangement

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export customs operations, declarations, clearance, documentation, and shipment tracking.
• Review customs documents for accuracy and compliance; develop and maintain templates and SOPs.
• Classify products using HS Codes and support customs valuation and duty assessment.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, brokers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Track shipments through clearance and release; manage inspections, amendments, duty payments, and information requests.
• Maintain customs records and ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations, free zone requirements, and company policies.
• Use ERP and logistics platforms for transactions, records, and operational reports.
• Support improvements to clearance efficiency, compliance, and operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years in import/export operations, customs clearance, freight forwarding, or a related field.
• UAE customs and free zone experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of trade regulations, customs procedures, Incoterms, HS Code classification, customs valuation, and international trade documents.
• ERP, WMS, customs clearance, or logistics management systems experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills; able to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese.
