Position Summary
The Customs Clearance and Freight Division supports customs clearance for freight forwarding and contract logistics operations.

The role develops new business and drives revenue growth in customs clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline for customs clearance and Freezone-related services.
- Identify, engage, and acquire clients requiring import, export, transit, and Freezone clearance solutions.
- Promote the company’s AEO-certified capabilities and specialized industry expertise.
- Coordinate with internal operations teams and establish SOPs for efficient service delivery.
- Develop cross-selling opportunities for freight forwarding transportation, warehousing, and contract logistics.
- Build relationships with Customs, Jebel Ali Port, JAFZA, and other relevant authorities.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, tender submissions, and client presentations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and business opportunities in the UAE logistics sector.
- Provide sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and business performance reports.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in customs clearance, UAE Customs procedures, and Freezone operations; the description also lists 4 years of customs clearance experience as required.
- Proven business development, sales, or commercial experience in the UAE logistics and supply chain industry.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai Trade, JAFZA systems, and UAE Customs regulations.
- An existing client network in freight forwarding, trading, manufacturing, chemicals, or Freezone sectors is advantageous.
- A valid UAE driving license is preferred.

- Strong business development, client acquisition, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and closing abilities.
- Deep understanding of import/export documentation, customs regulations, and Freezone protocols.
- Strong presentation, communication, and commercial proposal-writing skills.
- Strategic thinking and pipeline management.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Arabic is required.
