Customer Service Executive – Events & General Cargo

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries by email, phone, and CargoQuote; prepare quotations and obtain competitive airline and freight rates.
• Coordinate import and export shipments from booking through delivery, and verify documents, AWB/MAWB/HAWB details, and cargo information.
• Coordinate with customers, airlines, customs, transporters, warehouse, and internal operations teams.
• Follow up on customs clearance, delivery slots, cargo collection, and shipment status; provide arrival, clearance, RCS, and departure updates.
• Coordinate payments, invoices, supplier bills, and customer outstanding balances; maintain shipment records and documentation.
• Support the Operations and Event Logistics teams as required.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of customer service, freight forwarding, cargo, or logistics experience; the posting separately specifies three years of logistics experience as required.
• Import/export and air cargo operations experience is preferred.
• Good shipment documentation and coordination knowledge; strong communication, customer service, follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook; ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Must be flexible and willing to work day and night shifts depending on operational requirements.
• Candidates currently in Qatar with a valid QID are preferred.

Pay

• Pay is QAR 3,000–4,500 per month.
