Overview

  • We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced **CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) Course Instructor** to join our academic team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality training to students pursuing certification as CSSD Technicians.
  • This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching future healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures on CSSD principles, sterilization processes, and infection control.
  • Conduct hands‑on practical training sessions, including instrument cleaning, packing, autoclave operation, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assessments, and practical demonstrations.
  • Evaluate student performance through quizzes, practical exams, and competency assessments.
  • Ensure all training content aligns with UAE healthcare standards and international sterilization guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe and organized training environment, following strict infection control protocols.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback to students.
  • Stay updated with current sterilization technologies, equipment, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to improve curriculum and training quality.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Sterile Processing, CSSD, or related healthcare field.
  • Minimum **2–3 years of experience** working in a CSSD department or sterile processing unit.
  • Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of sterilization standards (AAMI, CDC, WHO, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct both theory and practical sessions confidently.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with autoclaves, washer‑disinfectors, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilization tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to motivate and support students with diverse learning needs.
  • Professional, patient, and student‑centered teaching approach.
  • Pay: AED40.00 - AED50.00 per hour
