Nurse Instructor (Part Time) Abu Dhabi

About This Role

Onyx Education and Development Institute L.L.C is seeking a qualified and dedicated Nurse Instructor to deliver high-quality training for students enrolled in the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program. The instructor will provide both theoretical instruction and practical clinical training, ensuring students are fully prepared for entry-level roles in healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured classroom lectures in line with CNA curriculum and UAE healthcare education standards
• Conduct hands-on skills training and supervise students in laboratory and clinical environments
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and instructional materials
• Assess student performance through written exams, practical evaluations, and clinical observations
• Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, grades, and student progress
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., DOH guidelines where applicable)
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to support student success
• Promote a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment
• Stay current with developments in nursing practice and education methodologies

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license (UAE license preferred: DOH / DHA / MOH)
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience (experience in long-term care or geriatric care is an advantage)
• Previous teaching or training experience in a healthcare or academic setting preferred
• Certification or eligibility to teach CNA programs is an added advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and classroom management abilities

Pay: AED50.00 - AED60.00 per hour
