Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation of their condition.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of life support systems, ventilators, and monitoring equipment to ensure optimal patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in emergency procedures and respond effectively to life-threatening situations, demonstrating excellent critical thinking skills.
• Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in critical care nursing practices and incorporate evidence-based approaches into patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].
