Job description
- Identify, assess, and quantify risks across business functions including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk
- Develop and maintain risk models, frameworks, and dashboards to monitor the organisation's risk profile
- Prepare risk reports for senior management, the Risk Committee, and regulatory bodies
- Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential risk exposures
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and escalate breaches or emerging risks in a timely manner
- Collaborate with business units to embed risk awareness and ensure compliance with internal policies
- Support the development and review of risk policies, procedures, and appetite statements
- Assist in the management of regulatory and audit requirements related to risk
- Analyse historical data and market trends to forecast potential risks and opportunities
- Contribute to enterprise risk management (ERM) initiatives and continuous improvement of the risk framework
Required Skills
Prior exposure to a regulated industry (banking, insurance, asset management) is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills — ability to present complex risk concepts clearly
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying issues
Familiarity with GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) tools is a plus
