The Credit Controller performs credit management and collection work as part of the Energy Credit Control team.
Tasks may be adjusted based on the successful candidate’s skills and interests.
Responsibilities
- Collect due and overdue invoices through telephone, email and letter follow-up.
- Monitor payment behaviour, escalate queries, allocate payments and maintain customer credit limits.
- Support sales processes involving credit issues, quotations, orders, credit notes, return orders and invoicing.
- Resolve disputes and non-payment with sales and internal stakeholders; provide month-end and ad hoc reporting.
- Work toward monthly and annual collection targets.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience in a credit control environment and sound financial knowledge are expected.
- Fluency in English, good IT literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office are expected.
- The candidate should be personable and confident, with strong communication and relationship-building abilities, attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Chinese proficiency and SAP experience are advantageous.
