Courier Recruitment & Delivery Operations Coordinator

Role overview

Courier team management

• Source, recruit, and onboard couriers for per-order work, taking them through to their first completed deliveries.
• Build rosters for each pickup location covering normal hours, peaks, days off, and absences.
• Ensure courier readiness when orders arrive and arrange prompt replacements for unavailable couriers.
• Monitor order acceptance, pickup times, completed deliveries, and courier performance.
• Retain reliable couriers and maintain stable coverage over time.

Daily delivery operations

• Resolve delays, cancellations, and other daily issues with couriers and restaurant teams.
• Recommend realistic courier payouts and staffing based on delivery distances, demand, and operating conditions.
• The company provides a courier app, order allocation, delivery tracking, and individual courier accounts.

Candidate requirements

• Practical experience recruiting and managing couriers in Dubai.
• An existing courier network or demonstrated ability to build one.
• Experience getting couriers from recruitment to their first completed deliveries.
• Clear communication, organization, and personal responsibility for service.
• English sufficient for everyday operational communication.
• Be prepared to describe realistic courier numbers, team start timing, payout expectations, staffing, and backup coverage.

Working arrangement

• Open to either a delivery partnership or an employed coordinator, depending on the proposed setup.
• The role involves operational presence at Dubai pickup locations as needed.
• The coordinator's salary or partnership fee is discussed separately from couriers' per-order payouts.
