Overview
We are looking for a dynamic **Counter Sales Executive** for our hardware, marine equipment, and oilfield trading company in the UAE.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in counter sales, cash handling, and basic accounting, with the ability to manage walk-in customers efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilitiescounter Sales & Customer Service
- Assist walk-in customers with product selection related to hardware, marine supplies, and oilfield tools.
- Manage counter sales operations including quotations, billing, and product guidance.
- Process sales invoices, receipts, and payments (cash, card, and online).
- Handle customer inquiries, product availability checks, and after-sales support.
Sales & Pos Operations
- Operate POS systems for efficient billing.
- Ensure accurate entry of sales data, discounts, and stock movement.
- Prepare and organize daily sales reports.
Cashier & Daily Cash Management
- Manage daily cash collection and reconcile cash/card transactions.
- Ensure proper and timely handover of cash to accounts/management.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and support finance operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum **1+ year experience** in counter sales (hardware, marine, or oilfield trading preferred).
- Strong customer service skills with good product knowledge in tools, marine equipment, and industrial supplies.
- Proficiency in POS systems and accounting software (CloudMe / CRM / Zoho / ERP).
- Basic understanding of UAE VAT rules and accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
- Ability to manage cash handling and maintain proper documentation.
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
