Role overview

Financial and accounting responsibilities

• Check financial figures, postings, and documents; maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents.
• Record and analyze computerized financial information and classify financial data using journals, ledgers, or computers.
• Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports; prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until payment is received or resolved.

Coordination and workplace responsibilities

• Coordinate work across departments, mentor colleagues, assign tasks, and ensure work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
• Report work-related accidents or injuries promptly and follow company procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance and communication, protect confidential information and company assets, answer telephones appropriately, and support team goals.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications and physical requirements

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and at least one year of related work experience are preferred.
• No supervisory experience, license, or certification is listed as required.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
