About This Role
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Controller to oversee cost management across our hotel and restaurant operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring food and beverage costs, inventory control, and ensuring accurate financial reporting to support business profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs across all outlets
- Conduct regular inventory checks (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile stock variances
- Analyze cost of sales and prepare variance reports
- Ensure proper recording of all purchases, transfers, and issues
- Work closely with kitchen and restaurant teams to control wastage and optimize portioning
- Review supplier invoices and ensure correct pricing and quantities
- Prepare monthly cost reports, including food cost percentage and menu engineering analysis
- Implement and maintain standard costing procedures
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Cost Controller in hotel or restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of F&B cost control procedures
- Proficiency in MS Excel and POS/inventory systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred
- Experience in UAE hospitality sector
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., FMC, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: Up to AED7,000.00 per month
