About the Role

AZ Advisory Services is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Corporate Tax Consultant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As the UAE’s tax landscape continues to evolve, you will play a critical role in helping our diverse portfolio of clients navigate Corporate Tax (CT) compliance, registration, and strategic tax planning.

You will be responsible for delivering technical tax advice, preparing impact assessments, and ensuring all client operations align with the latest Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance & Registration: Manage the end-to-end UAE Corporate Tax registration process for clients and ensure timely filing of returns.
  • Tax Advisory: Provide expert advice on the impact of UAE Corporate Tax on various business structures, including Free Zone entities and Mainland companies.
  • Impact Assessments: Conduct comprehensive gap analyses and "Health Checks" to identify tax risks and opportunities for optimization.
  • FTA Liaison: Prepare and review documentation for FTA audits and assist in drafting technical memos or clarification requests.
  • Transfer Pricing: Assist clients in understanding and implementing Transfer Pricing documentation requirements.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted subject matter expert for all tax-related inquiries.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in taxation, specifically within the UAE or GCC region.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law. Professional certifications (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA, or ADIT) are highly preferred.
  • Must possess a valid UAE Driver’s License. (Required for frequent client site visits and meetings across the Emirates).
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 on the Taxation of Corporations and Businesses.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel is essential.
  • Language: Excellent command of English (written and verbal). Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Experience from any Big4 Companies is a plus.
