Job Summary
The Corporate Performance Officer is responsible for ensuring MCQ’s strategy is effectively translated into measurable outcomes by defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators, analyzing performance gaps, and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.
The role plays a critical part in monitoring organizational progress, driving accountability across business units, and enabling data-driven decision-making to keep the company aligned with and on track to achieve its strategic objectives.
Operational
- Support continuous enhancement of corporate performance management frameworks, in alignment of global best practices and standards.
- Deliver successful monitoring of MCQ’s performance governance frameworks and models as aligned with MCQ Strategy.
- Monitor and report on the organization’s portfolio of programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and performance targets.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to track and visualize Key Performance Indicators at both project and corporate levels.
- Perform analysis and insights of performance data to identify gaps, opportunities, risks, and identify escalation points (if any).
- Provide regular updates and performance insights to the Head of PMO and Corporate Performance, supporting informed decision-making.
- Contribute to effective stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability in performance delivery.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Support the development and periodic review of departmental policies, delegation of authority, processes, and standard operating procedures to strengthen performance management.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of process roadmaps that align operational activities with strategic priorities.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement in performance management systems and processes, incorporating global best practices, efficiency enhancements, and cost optimization.
- Promote a performance-driven culture by supporting initiatives that enhance transparency, accountability, and organizational effectiveness.
Reporting
- Prepare and deliver consolidated performance reports, and executive-level dashboards.
- Develop high-quality presentations (PowerPoint) with clear data visualization and strategic insights for senior leadership.
- Support the development of analytical reports and white papers that provide insights into organizational performance and inform strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to the governance of enterprise performance frameworks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business; Finance or a similar discipline from a reputable university.
- Command of English language. Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience.
- Experience in leading and supporting corporate performance reporting in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in analytical tools, such as MS Excel or equivalent.
- Proficient Excel, PowerPoint skills and data visualization capabilities.
- Basic Power BI and/or Tableau.
Functional Competencies
- Business intelligence, business analytics & dashboarding tools
- Proficiency in tools like Power BI or Tableau to build and manage performance dashboards and reports
- Developing clear, structured reports and presentations (usually in Excel and PowerPoint) for senior leadership decision-making.
