Responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies for freight services, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
This role involves analyzing market trends, setting pricing policies, and working closely with sales and operations teams to optimize pricing structures.
Corporate Freight Pricing Leader plays a key role in driving revenue growth, improving cost efficiencies, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.
This position requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication to support the organization's freight pricing objectives.
Job Description
- Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
- Conduct customer and market research to inform pricing strategies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on pricing performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Handle escalated pricing issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in freight pricing.
- Develop and deliver training programs on pricing strategies and tools.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Prepare and present pricing proposals and strategies to senior management.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making to achieve organizational goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies for freight services.
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to optimize pricing structures.
- Set and maintain pricing policies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze pricing performance and key metrics.
- Provide pricing guidance and support to sales teams.
- Develop and maintain pricing models and tools
- Conduct regular pricing reviews and adjust strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Manage the pricing budget and allocate resources effectively.
- This role will serve US based Client hence the working hours will be based on US timing.
Job Requirements - Experience And Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in pricing, preferably in the freight or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, market analysis, and financial modeling.
- Experience in developing and implementing pricing policies and strategies.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and cost efficiencies.
- Proven ability to handle escalated pricing issues and resolve them effectively.
- Experience in managing a pricing budget and resources.
