Role overview

Responsibilities

• Review and advise on new initiatives, products, and processes to identify legal and regulatory risks.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships within the legal department and with key business partners.
• Communicate legal guidance and analysis to business partners and team members.
• Escalate issues appropriately while learning the business and balancing risk.
• Prioritize work and manage time according to business needs and department priorities.
• Apply legal knowledge and business risk understanding to identify issues and provide accurate, actionable guidance and work product.
• Manage outside counsel relationships.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and at least four years of related experience.
• Member in good standing of any U.S. Bar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate legal concepts into clear, practical guidance and balance legal risk with business considerations.
• Effective project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships across teams.
• Sound judgment and attention to detail.

Compensation

• Annual salary ranges are USD 127,000–191,000 for Tier 1, USD 142,000–212,000 for Tier 2, and USD 156,000–234,000 for Tier 3.
• Offers are typically made between the applicable range minimum and midpoint; compensation depends on job-related skills, experience, expertise, and work location.
• Additional rewards may include quarterly bonuses, restricted stock units, and benefits.
