Role overview

Architecture strategy and governance

• Define and own end-to-end banking architecture blueprints aligned with business and regulatory needs.
• Drive cloud-native, microservices-based, API-first, and event-driven architecture principles.
• Govern solution design, integration, infrastructure, and data flows; ensure security, scalability, availability, and performance.
• Collaborate with executives, technology leads, and delivery teams on roadmaps and architecture decisions.

Temenos architecture

• Lead technical solutioning for Temenos Transact implementations, including TAFJ/TAFC, Design Studio, AA, and APIs.
• Define and validate designs for Temenos Customer, Accounts, Lending, Deposits, GL, and AA modules.
• Ensure optimal use of Temenos Integration Framework, API Gateway, and Data Framework.
• Guide Temenos configuration, customizations, extensions, and upgrades; align deployments with bank-wide architecture.

Technical leadership and oversight

• Lead architecture reviews, design walkthroughs, and technical deep dives with vendors and client teams.
• Oversee architecture documentation, integration specifications, and platform infrastructure plans.
• Manage dependencies across digital channels, CRM, payments, AML, GL, and other systems.
• Guide performance tuning, failover, disaster recovery, data integrity architecture, and DevSecOps automation alignment.

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of banking technology experience, including at least 5 years as a core banking architect.
• Deep hands-on experience with Temenos platforms, especially Transact, Design Studio, Integration Framework, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native, microservices, containers, APIs, and event-driven design.
• Track record leading architecture design and governance for large-scale banking programs.
• Experience with Temenos AA, TDS, and reporting frameworks.
• Familiarity with banking regulatory and security requirements, including data residency and PCI-DSS.
• Experience in the Middle East or other regulated banking markets.

Preferred qualifications

• Temenos Architect or Technical certifications are strongly preferred.
• Exposure to other core banking platforms is a plus.
