Team management and customer engagement
- Oversee and support customer service executives, loading and pricing specialists, and field staff; resolve shipment issues promptly.
- Train new and existing staff on customer service best practices, compliance, and operational procedures.
- Follow up on inquiries and obtain client confirmation for land freight quotations.
- Coordinate trade licenses, VAT certificates, credit applications, and credit-limit checks for new customers; communicate management decisions.
- Identify process improvements and alert CRM teams to drops in shipment volume for investigation.
Quotations, procedures, and compliance
- Prepare and send quotations when managed by the specialist and ensure credit, quotation, and acceptance procedures are followed.
- Apply SOPs, brief reportees on jobs, and coordinate with pricing and loading specialists to confirm shipping documents and supplier details.
- Report accidents to the insurance provider and submit required claim documents.
- Track UAE import and export regulations, advise team members of changes, and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
Records and operational coordination
- Maintain records of suppliers, drivers, customs clearing agents, lessons learned, and solutions implemented.
- Coordinate with sales and finance to support land freight operations.
- Resolve delays, vehicle breakdowns, route changes, and other operational issues.
- Manage customer service, customs clearance, and land transport to support timely transportation of goods.
- Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, team performance, vehicle utilization, and job cycle time.
Requirements
- At least four years managing land freight shipments from beginning to end.
- Three years as a coordinator in a land freight forwarding company.
- Leadership experience managing teams or projects.
- Relevant educational background or experience in land freight.
- Bachelor's degree required.

- Pay starts at AED 3,000 per month.
