Overview
Arab Cook-responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
The role includes planning daily menus, monitoring kitchen supplies, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen area, and working collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
The Cook will also follow recipes, maintain portion controls, and ensure that meals adhere to dietary requirements when needed.
Qualifications
- **5 yrs experience as COOK; knowledge in Hot/Cold (exp in GCC mandatory)**
- **local in Doha with valid QID**
- **fluent in Arabic**
- Experience in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and presenting attractive dishes
- Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and quality controls
- Ability to plan menus, manage inventory, and ensure ingredient availability
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
- Prior experience in industrial or large-scale catering is an advantage
- Culinary certification or relevant training in hospitality and catering is preferred
