Position overview

Food preparation and cooking

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
• Prepare and cook food, including cold foods, according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and preparation checklists.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; check food doneness and monitor food quality.
• Set up and break down the workstation and serve food in appropriate portions and receptacles.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment; check appliance and food temperatures.

Safety and teamwork

• Follow company, safety, and security procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and communicate professionally.
• Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and meet quality expectations.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications

• At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required.

Physical demands

• The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or an entire shift.
• The role involves reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
