Position summary

• Assign rooms based on guest requests and preferences; pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets.
• Coordinate check-in and pre-registration for arriving groups.
• Track room and checkout changes, accommodate requests when possible, and update appropriate staff.
• Confirm reservations and cancellations and review out-of-order rooms daily.
• Check rates against market codes and document exceptions.
• Verify and adjust guest bills, file paperwork, process check-ins and check-outs, activate room keys, and secure payment.
• Identify over-commitments, check for duplicate reservations, block rooms, and run daily reports.
• Follow up with guests about requests and problems; receive, record, and relay messages accurately.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, protect assets, and welcome guests according to standards.
• Communicate professionally, answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, coordinate with departments, and support team goals.
• Comply with quality standards and use computers and POS systems.
• The role may involve extended standing, sitting, or walking and moving items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Less than one year of related work experience is listed.
