The position is full time, non-management, and not remote.
Reservations and room control
- Assign rooms according to guest requests and preferences when possible; pre-register selected guests and prepare key packets.
- Coordinate pre-registration and check-in procedures for group arrivals.
- Review and respond to room-change and departure-date requests, communicating changes to relevant staff.
- Confirm reservations and cancellations, review out-of-order rooms daily, and control duplicate reservations and room blocks.
- Check room rates against market prices, document exceptions, and review or adjust guest billing.
Guest operations and coordination
- Complete guest paperwork and process arrivals and departures, activate room keys, and obtain and verify payment.
- Identify overbookings and prepare daily reports.
- Follow up on guest requests and issues to support satisfaction; receive, record, and relay messages accurately.
- Coordinate work with other departments, uphold service and quality standards, and use computers or point-of-sale systems to enter and find information.
- The role involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or moving and handling loads up to 4.5 kilograms without assistance.
