Basic Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with PLC and HMI programming.
  • Understand and be able to modify electrical schematics.
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing control systems for high-voltage (480V) applications.
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
  • Willingness to travel to various work locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SCADA Design: Develop, modify, and maintain SCADA systems for data collection and recipe management spanning wide geographic areas. Ignition by Inductive Automation preferred.
  • Database Interaction: Utilize and understand relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL, for reporting, data collection, and system integration as required.
  • Licensing & Special Requirements:
  • Incumbent is subject to a criminal background check.
  • Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Work is performed within Clear Water Services’ Everett shop and at other construction and industrial job sites. This position will be expected and required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas and while on-site. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required. Candidate must be able to walk, bend, twist, crouch, kneel, and move freely with minimal limitation.
