Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Abu Dhabi office, supporting building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contractual and commercial management, with proven experience in procurement processes for both design consultants and construction works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all contractual and commercial aspects of projects from pre-award to post-award stages
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and related documentation
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and company policies
- Manage procurement processes for design consultants and contractors, including tendering, evaluation, and award recommendations
- Handle contract administration, variations, claims, and dispute resolution
- Provide commercial advice and risk assessment to project teams and management
- Monitor project budgets, cost control, and financial performance
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on contractual matters
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all contractual communications
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a similar Contracts Manager role within the building and infrastructure sector
- Strong knowledge of contractual and commercial practices
- Proven experience in procurement processes for design consultants and construction projects
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and contract standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Professional certifications or memberships are an advantage
