We're Hiring | Contracts Engineer – EPC Project | UAE, Oil & Gas

Procer Energy is a technical staffing agency specialized in providing qualified EPC personnel (Engineers and Technicians) for companies in the Oil & Gas, Power, and Marine Construction sectors.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Contracts Engineer for an EPC project based on-site in the UAE , serving the Oil & Gas sector.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven Site Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in contract management, specifically within the oil and gas industry on major EPC projects.
• Contractual Expertise: Deep knowledge of FIDIC and other international standard forms of contract. Ability to interpret complex legal and technical documents.
• Post-Award Administration: Proven track record in managing day-to-day contract administration, including processing interim payment certificates, variations, and amendments.
• Claim Management: Strong ability to identify, evaluate, and manage claims for extensions of time (EOT) and additional costs, ensuring the company’s interests are protected.
• Subcontractor Management: Experience in overseeing subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with terms, and managing back-to-back contractual obligations.
• Reporting & Compliance: Absolute commitment to following project governance, ensuring all contractual correspondence and records are maintained with a high degree of accuracy.

General Responsibilities:

• Manage all contractual correspondence between the company, clients, and subcontractors.
• Review and assess project variations and change orders, providing commercial and contractual advice to the Project Manager.
• Prepare and negotiate contractual notices and facilitate the resolution of disputes or ambiguities.
• Monitor project progress against contractual milestones and provide early warnings regarding potential delays or liabilities.
• Oversee the close-out of contracts, ensuring all warranties, bonds, and final settlements are handled per the agreement.
• Coordinate with the legal and procurement departments to ensure risk mitigation strategies are effectively implemented.

• 📍 Location: Site (UAE)
• ⏳ Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
• 📊 Reporting To: Contracts Manager / Project Director

Mandatory Requirements:

• Education: Minimum of an Undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree in Engineering, Law, or Quantity Surveying.
• Project Background: Previous ADNOC or major UAE National Oil Company project experience is highly preferred.
• Regional Experience: Previous GCC work experience is mandatory.
• Language: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
