Role overview

The Contract & Sales Support Analyst supports client data agreements, sales processes, billing reconciliations, market data guidelines, and operational efficiency.

The role supports the Datalinx Xpress program and collaborates across teams on contracts, data, and compliance.

Contract and sales support

  • Draft, review, execute, and maintain client data agreements, amendments, and subscriber applications in accordance with company policy and legal guidelines.
  • Manage CRM and billing workflows for onboarding, service entitlement, and invoicing; support quotes, client inquiries, and sales pipeline activity.
  • Investigate billing discrepancies and entitlement adjustments, and maintain accurate agreement, pricing, product, and renewal records.

Compliance and governance

  • Check client usage, redistribution, and subscriber deployments against signed market data agreements and guidelines.
  • Review client declarations, self-audit forms, and vendor reports; address non-compliant use through corrective addendums and back-billing calculations.
  • Advise on licensing guidelines, non-display usage policies, and redistribution terms.

Analytics and audit support

  • Analyze data feeds, access logs, and vendor reporting to detect unusual usage and undeclared redistribution.
  • Use Excel, Power BI, or SQL to analyze client reporting, potential revenue leakage, and fee schedule effectiveness.
  • Compile contract, billing, and entitlement records for audits; reconcile findings and support settlements and remediation.
  • Review workflows and recommend automated controls, documentation improvements, and risk mitigation.

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in contract administration, sales operations, client compliance, or market data licensing; related financial services, fintech, or exchange data experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial agreements, licensing terms, and contract workflows.
  • High Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise CRM and billing systems, such as Salesforce, Workday, or DataBP.
  • Strong accuracy in drafting, reconciliation, and compliance, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Preferred qualifications

  • Capital markets, real-time equity or derivative data feeds, non-display usage, and vendor redistribution familiarity are nice to have.
  • SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Quicksight experience for large datasets and automated compliance reporting is a plus.
  • FISD Financial Information Associate certification is an asset; contract automation or market data reporting platform experience is also a plus.

Core competencies

  • The role calls for integrity, sound judgment, commercial acumen, problem-solving, critical thinking, and cross-functional relationship-building.

Salary

  • Salary range is CAD 65,000–75,000 per year; the offer may vary based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.

Workplace

  • The company describes its workstyle as hybrid and cloud-first.
