Job Overview

The Contract Administrator supports the Commercial and Contracts Team in contract administration, contractual correspondence, notices, claims, FIDIC compliance, and entitlement preservation.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Prepare, review, and manage contractual correspondence, notices, and formal communications.

2.

Support claims, variations, EOT submissions, and contractual responses.

3.

Ensure compliance with FIDIC notice requirements, claim procedures, timelines, and substantiation obligations.

4.

Maintain contract registers, claims trackers, variation logs, correspondence logs, and entitlement records.

5.

Review contractor and consultant submissions from a contractual and procedural perspective.

6.

Coordinate with QS, planning, technical, and site teams to collect supporting records.

7.

Assist in preparing contractual positions, risk assessments, and management summaries.

8.

Support dispute avoidance, entitlement preservation, and commercial risk mitigation.

9.

Monitor key contract obligations, deliverables, deadlines, and response requirements.

10.

Organise records for audit, negotiation, claim defence, or dispute purposes.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years’ contract administration, claims, or commercial/contracts experience.
  • Strong FIDIC experience, preferably Red Book, Yellow Book, and consultancy agreements.
  • Airport, infrastructure, aviation, or large construction project experience preferred.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and contractual interpretation skills.
  • Good understanding of claims, EOT, variations, notices, records, and contract procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Aconex, and contract management systems.
  • Professional certification in contracts, claims, or dispute management preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong written communication and drafting capability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple contractual matters.
  • Strong attention to detail and record management.
  • Practical understanding of construction project delivery and commercial exposure.
