The Role

Strategy & Planning

• Own the monthly content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Whatsapp and blog
• Develop platform-specific strategies aligned to NGJ's positioning and audience
• Identify content themes, campaign hooks, and seasonal/cultural moments relevant to the NRI jewellery buyer
• Track performance metrics and iterate the strategy based on data

Short-Form Video (Reels / Shorts)

• Concept, shoot, and edit Reels for Instagram and YouTube Shorts
• On-camera comfort is an advantage; directing talent or spokesperson is essential

Photography & Product Content

• Shoot product and lifestyle photography for social, website, and WhatsApp catalogues
• Style and frame jewellery, gemstones, and collaboration content for digital formats
• Manage photo library and maintain visual consistency across channels

LinkedIn & Written Content

• Write and post twice weekly on LinkedIn (Tuesdays: video, Thursdays: written)
• Maintain NGJ's voice: authoritative, educational, community-first — not promotional
• Craft captions, carousel scripts, and short-form copy across Instagram

Blog & Website Copy

• Write SEO-optimised long-form blog posts for ngopaldaas.com (2–4 per month)
• Topics span gemstone education, certification guidance, Vedic astrology & gemstones, care and styling — all pitched one level above basic search knowledge
• Work with web team on on-page SEO, meta descriptions, and GEO (AI search) optimisation

Channel & Community Management

• Manage posting schedules and engage with comments across platforms basically from scratch to final posting
• Coordinate with the Dubai team for product availability, shoot access, and story ideas
• Liaise with outside operations (Trichy/Chennai) for archive content and new collections

Non-negotiable

• 2+ years of content creation experience, ideally in luxury, jewellery, lifestyle, or heritage brands
• Strong short-form video skills — capable of shooting and editing Reels independently
• Excellent English writing ability; formal and conversational registers both
• Working knowledge of Social Media platforms and basic SEO
• Ability to photograph, retouch & edit jewellery and products to a clean, professional standard
• Highly self-organised, you must be able to plan a month ahead without hand-holding

Strong Advantage

• Familiarity with the NRI community in Dubai and their cultural reference points
• Interest in or knowledge of gemstones, Vedic tradition, or heritage
• Tamil, Hindi, or Gujarati language ability (any one is an advantage)
• Experience with AI content tools, GEO optimisation, or structured content systems
• Prior experience managing a brand's social media independently, not just as part of an agency team

Tools & Setup

• Editing: CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent to your choice, your workflow
• Photography: NGJ will provide studio access and basic equipment

• CMS: WordPress (ngopaldaas.com)

• Scheduling & Analytics: Buffer, Meta Business Suite, or LinkedIn native tools
• AI tools: encouraged for ideation and drafting; never for unedited final output
