As a Consultant Surgical Oncologist in the private sector, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and surgically treating cancer patients with the highest standards of care. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be essential to develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:* Perform comprehensive assessments and surgical management for patients with various types of cancer

• Execute complex oncological surgeries with precision and adherence to best practices
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists to formulate integrated treatment plans
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery, managing any surgical complications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with private sector regulations
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, surgical procedures, risks, and post-operative care
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of innovations in surgical oncology

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization and board certification in Surgical Oncology
• Proven experience performing complex surgical oncology procedures in a private healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of cancer pathophysiology, surgical techniques, and treatment options
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively in a high-demand environment
• Detailed oriented with excellent clinical documentation skills
