• In this role, you will provide immediate and comprehensive medical care to patients experiencing urgent and critical health issues.
• You will be responsible for rapid assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment in a high-pressure emergency department setting.
• As part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will contribute to improving patient outcomes by delivering timely and evidence-based emergency medical care.
• Responsibilities:* Conduct thorough patient evaluations and triage in emergency situations
• Provide prompt and effective medical interventions for acute illnesses and injuries
• Order, interpret, and utilize diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans
• Stabilize critically ill or injured patients and facilitate transfer to specialized care as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient encounters and treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Stay current with advances in emergency medicine through ongoing education and training

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Emergency Medicine
• Proven clinical experience in emergency medicine or similar acute care settings
• Comprehensive knowledge of emergency medical protocols, procedures, and best practices
• Ability to make quick and sound clinical decisions under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions
• Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
