Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeons

to join its multidisciplinary surgical team.

Role Overview

  • **Position: Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeon**
  • **Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates**
  • **Hospital Type: Private / Government / Multispecialty / Tertiary Care (JCI-accredited)**
  • **Experience Required: Minimum 3–5+ years post board certification**
  • **Clinical Scope: Brain surgery, spine surgery, neurotrauma, and minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures**
  • The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurosurgical care, working alongside neurologists, intensivists, and rehabilitation specialists.

Eligibility & Board Recognition

  • We welcome applications from internationally trained neurosurgeons with recognised qualifications such as:
  • **American Board of Neurological Surgery**
  • **UK CCT / FRCS (Neurosurgery)**
  • **European Board Certification**
  • **Royal College Certification (Canada)**
  • **Australian Fellowship**
  • **Arab Board**
  • **MCh / DNB Neurosurgery / equivalent recognised super-specialty qualification**
  • Candidates should be eligible for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) / Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) license conversion (full support provided).

Key Responsibilities

  • **Diagnose and surgically manage brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system disorders**
  • **Perform cranial surgeries, spine surgeries, tumor resections, and neurotrauma procedures**
  • **Conduct minimally invasive and image-guided neurosurgical interventions**
  • **Manage complex neurological conditions, including brain tumors, vascular malformations, and spinal disorders**
  • **Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care, including ICU coordination**
  • **Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurology, oncology, radiology, and rehabilitation**
  • **Participate in emergency neurosurgical services and on-call rotations**
  • **Ensure adherence to clinical governance, patient safety, and international surgical protocols**
  • **Contribute to clinical audits, research, and continuous medical education**
  • **Mentor junior doctors and surgical trainees**
