• We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Consultant Periodontist** to join a leading healthcare provider in Qatar.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, preventing, and treating periodontal diseases while delivering advanced surgical and non-surgical periodontal care.

• **Key Responsibilities*** Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases affecting the gums and supporting structures of the teeth.
• Perform advanced periodontal procedures, including:
• + Scaling and root planing
• + Flap surgery
• + Gingival grafting
• + Bone grafting
• + Guided tissue regeneration
• + Crown lengthening
• + Soft tissue augmentation
• Place and restore dental implants and manage implant-related complications.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with general dentists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, and other specialists.
• Educate patients on preventive oral healthcare, periodontal maintenance, and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with infection control, quality assurance, and patient safety standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, Continuing Medical Education (CME), clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior dentists and contribute to clinical excellence within the department.

Requirements

• **Qualifications & Requirements*** DDS/BDS followed by a recognized postgraduate qualification (MDS, MSD, DClinDent, PhD, or equivalent) in **Periodontics**.
• Board Certification or equivalent recognized Consultant qualification in Periodontics.
• Minimum **5–10 years of post-specialization experience** at the Consultant level.
• Eligibility for or ability to obtain **Qatar medical/dental licensure**.
• Proven expertise in periodontal surgery, implant dentistry, and comprehensive periodontal care.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered dental care.
• **Preferred Candidate Profile*** **PQR Tier 1 and Tier 2 qualified professionals** will be given preference.
• Experience in internationally accredited hospitals, dental centers, or multispecialty clinics is highly desirable.
• Fellowship training or certification in Implant Dentistry is an added advantage.
