Consultant Breast Radiologist - Abu Dhabi

• We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **Consultant Breast Radiologist** to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• The successful candidate will provide expert breast imaging services, accurate diagnosis, and image-guided procedures while contributing to comprehensive breast care through multidisciplinary collaboration.
• **Key Responsibilities*** Perform and interpret comprehensive breast imaging studies, including:
• + Screening and diagnostic mammography
• + Breast ultrasound
• + Breast MRI
• + Tomosynthesis (where available)
• Evaluate breast lesions and provide accurate diagnostic assessments.
• Perform image-guided breast procedures, including:
• + Ultrasound-guided breast biopsy
• + Stereotactic biopsy
• + Core needle biopsy
• + Cyst aspiration and localization procedures (where credentialed)
• Participate in breast cancer screening and early detection programs.
• Collaborate with breast surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, genetic counselors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Present and discuss cases during Breast MDT meetings.
• Provide expert consultation to referring physicians regarding imaging findings and management pathways.
• Ensure high-quality reporting, documentation, and compliance with clinical governance standards.
• Maintain radiation safety and quality assurance standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, CME activities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior radiologists and contribute to departmental education and training.

Requirements

• **Qualifications & Requirements*** MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Board Certification or equivalent recognized Consultant qualification in **Radiology**.
• Fellowship / Advanced training in **Breast Imaging** is required.
• Minimum **5–10 years of post-specialization experience** at Consultant level.
• Eligibility for or possession of a **Department of Health (DOH) – Abu Dhabi** Consultant license.
• Strong expertise in breast imaging, breast cancer screening, and image-guided breast interventions.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Commitment to delivering accurate, patient-centered, evidence-based care.
• **Preferred Candidate Profile*** Experience working in internationally accredited tertiary hospitals or dedicated breast centers.
• Expertise in BI-RADS classification and breast cancer screening protocols.
• UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in multidisciplinary breast oncology care is an advantage.
