- We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified
- consultant in pediatric infectious disease
- to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai.
- The ideal candidate will provide expert care to infants, children, and adolescents with complex infectious diseases, while contributing to clinical excellence, infection control, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- 🧠 Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage pediatric infectious diseases including viral, bacterial, fungal, and parasitic infections
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as cultures, PCR, serologies, and imaging studies
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic infections
- Lead infection prevention and control initiatives within pediatric units
- Collaborate with pediatricians, microbiologists, intensivists, and public health teams
- Provide consultative services for immunocompromised and post-transplant patients
- Educate families on disease prevention, vaccination schedules, and antimicrobial stewardship
- Participate in clinical audits, CME activities, and infectious disease research
📋 Qualifications & Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases (e.g., American Board, Royal College, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience in a tertiary or academic hospital setting
- Eligible for DHA Consultant licensure (Dubai Health Authority)
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and family-centered care approach
💼 Compensation & Benefits
- Tax-free salary: AED 70,000–85,000/month (commensurate with experience)
