About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team at SEHA Pure Health in AE.
The successful candidate will provide specialized surgical and non-surgical care to paediatric patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans for paediatric orthopaedic conditions
- Conduct surgical procedures including corrective osteotomies, fracture management, and deformity corrections
- Manage congenital and acquired musculoskeletal disorders in children
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in on-call duties as required
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Board certification in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery (American Board, MRCS/FRCS, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of post-certification experience in paediatric orthopaedic surgery
- Current medical license to practice in AE (or eligibility to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care
Preferred Skills
- Experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques
- Fellowship training in paediatric orthopaedics
- Teaching and research experience
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
