Overview

  • SearchPlus HR is currently recruiting for an experienced Consultant Neurologist to join a dynamic private sector healthcare organization.
  • This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver specialist neurological care in a patient-focused environment within the private sector.
  • As a Consultant Neurologist, you will provide comprehensive neurological assessment, diagnosis, and management for a broad spectrum of neurological conditions.
  • You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of clinical care and patient satisfaction.
  • Responsibilities:* Conduct detailed neurological assessments and examinations of patients
  • Interpret diagnostic investigations including EEG, MRI, CT scans, and lumbar punctures
  • Develop and implement patient-centered management plans for acute and chronic neurological disorders
  • Provide expert advice and consultations to patients and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities
  • Stay updated with latest research, guidelines, and advancements in neurology
  • Contribute to education and training of junior medical staff as appropriate

Requirements

  • Medical degree with full registration and license to practice
  • Completion of neurology residency and Board Certification in Neurology
  • Proven experience working as a Consultant Neurologist, preferably in the private healthcare sector
  • Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions
  • Proficiency in interpreting neuroimaging and electrophysiological studies
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and ethical medical practice
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Awareness of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Flexibility and adaptability to the private healthcare environment
