As a Consultant - Gastroenterology, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with gastrointestinal diseases. You will provide expert consultations, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:* Assess and diagnose patients presenting with gastrointestinal symptoms and disorders.

• Carry out endoscopic procedures and other diagnostic tests essential for patient evaluation.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and follow-up.
• Provide expert advice and consultation to other medical staff regarding gastrointestinal conditions.
• Stay current with medical advances and best practices related to gastroenterology.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Medical degree with recognized specialization in Gastroenterology.
• Board certification or equivalent credentials in Gastroenterology.
• Proven clinical experience in gastroenterology practice, including endoscopic procedures.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and healthcare software is preferable.
