• We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated **Consultant Family Medicine Physician** to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups.
• **Key Responsibilities*** Provide comprehensive family medicine and primary healthcare services for individuals and families.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical practices.
• Conduct preventive health assessments, wellness screenings, and routine medical examinations.
• Manage chronic diseases including:
• + Diabetes Mellitus
• + Hypertension
• + Cardiovascular diseases
• + Asthma and respiratory conditions
• + Thyroid disorders
• + Metabolic and lifestyle-related conditions
• Provide health education, preventive counseling, vaccinations, and lifestyle modification guidance.
• Deliver holistic care including women’s health, men’s health, adolescent care, and geriatric care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists when required.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with DOH standards and healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, CME activities, and departmental meetings.
• Support teaching, mentoring, and development of junior medical staff where applicable.

Requirements

• **Qualifications & Requirements*** MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Board Certification / Fellowship / recognized postgraduate qualification in **Family Medicine**.
• Minimum **5–10 years of post-specialization experience** at Consultant level.
• Eligibility for or possession of a **Department of Health (DOH) – Abu Dhabi** Consultant license.
• Strong clinical expertise in primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based, patient-focused healthcare.
• **Preferred Candidate Profile*** Western-trained or internationally recognized Family Medicine qualification preferred.
• Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals, clinics, or primary healthcare centers.
• UAE or GCC experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong focus on preventive care, patient experience, and continuity of care.
