About This Role

Role Summary JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Network and Security Architect with primary expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), complemented by knowledge of Azure and on-premises infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in cloud architecture, network security design, security assessments, and cloud migration projects, with proven capabilities in pre-sales activities, solution architecture, deployment planning, and comprehensive documentation. This role combines technical excellence with client-facing responsibilities, requiring strong knowledge of security frameworks, assessment methodologies, and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable security solutions.

The architect will be responsible for designing secure cloud infrastructure with focus on Oracle and Google Cloud, leading on-premises to cloud migration initiatives, conducting security assessments, creating architectural documentation, supporting pre-sales engagements, and ensuring compliance with industry security frameworks and best practices across hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.

Job Specifications Desired Educational Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cloud Computing, or related technical field
• Oracle Cloud: OCI Architect Professional, OCI Security Professional (Required)
• Google Cloud: Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Security Engineer (Required)
• Azure: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate (Preferred)
• Security Certifications: CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) preferred; CCNP Security, PCNSE (Palo Alto), or NSE (Fortinet) beneficial
• Architecture Certifications: TOGAF, SABSA (Preferred)
• Network and Infrastructure: CCNP, VMware certifications (VCP-DCV, VCP-NV) beneficial for migration projects

Language Requirement

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for technical documentation, client presentations, and pre-sales activities
• Strong presentation and stakeholder communication abilities for executive-level briefings

Desired Experience 8-12 years of experience in cloud architecture, network security, and cybersecurity with proven expertise in:

• Primary expertise: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture including VCN design, security zones, Oracle Cloud Guard, FastConnect, OCI WAF, and OCI security services
• Primary expertise: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture including VPC design, Cloud Armor, Security Command Center, Cloud Interconnect, BeyondCorp, and GCP security services
• On-premises infrastructure: Enterprise networking (routers, switches, firewalls), datacenter architecture, VMware virtualization (vSphere, NSX), storage solutions (SAN/NAS), and hybrid connectivity
• Cloud migration expertise: Large-scale on-premises to cloud migrations, migration assessments, application discovery and dependency mapping, migration strategies (rehost/replatform/refactor), migration tools (OCI Migration Services, Google Cloud Migrate, CloudEndure)
• Hybrid cloud architecture: Designing secure hybrid environments, establishing private connectivity (OCI FastConnect, GCP Interconnect, Azure ExpressRoute), hybrid identity integration, and cross-cloud networking
• Multi-cloud architecture: Azure familiarity including VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall, Azure Security Center/Defender for comparative and integration scenarios
• Cloud network security: VPC/VNet design, security groups, network ACLs, WAF, DDoS protection, VPN, private connectivity solutions, transit gateway architectures
• Security architecture and frameworks: NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SABSA, TOGAF, cloud security posture management
• Security assessments: Vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, cloud security reviews, compliance audits, gap analysis for migration readiness
• Pre-sales activities: Solution architecture, migration planning proposals, RFP/RFI responses, client presentations, technical proposals, proof of concepts
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform (primary for OCI/GCP), OCI Resource Manager, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, ARM templates, Ansible
• Cloud-native security: Container security (Kubernetes, OKE, GKE), serverless security, API security, microservices security
• Network security technologies: Cloud-native firewalls, next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco), IDS/IPS, SIEM integration, SD-WAN

Job Specific Skills

• Design and architect secure cloud network infrastructure with primary focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Lead on-premises to cloud migration projects including discovery, assessment, planning, design, and execution across OCI and GCP platforms
• Assess existing on-premises infrastructure (network, security, compute, storage) and develop cloud migration strategies and roadmaps
• Design hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-premises datacenters with OCI and GCP using FastConnect, Interconnect, VPN, and SD-WAN
• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, gap analyses, and risk evaluations for cloud environments and migration readiness
• Develop detailed architecture documentation including HLD, LLD, network diagrams, migration plans, security policies, and runbooks
• Create security assessment reports, migration assessment reports, compliance documentation, and audit findings with remediation roadmaps
• Support pre-sales activities: develop migration and cloud solution proposals, respond to RFPs, deliver technical presentations to clients
• Design deployment plans and implementation roadmaps for cloud security solutions and migration phases
• Apply security frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001) to cloud architecture design and migration projects
• Perform security reviews of cloud deployments, migration architectures, and provide remediation recommendations
• Collaborate with engineering teams on secure DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline security, and infrastructure automation
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud, migration, and security engineering teams

• Expert knowledge of network security architecture and design patterns for cloud and on-premises
• Strong knowledge of migration methodologies, tools, and best practices for cloud transitions

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure automation
• Experience with security assessment tools, cloud native security services, and CSPM platforms
