Lead the execution phase of building construction projects to meet design specifications, schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.
Direct project engineers, site engineers, and foremen; ensure work complies with project requirements, authority regulations, and company procedures.
Site execution and coordination
- Oversee site work against approved drawings, specifications, and method statements; plan manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources.
- Guide engineers on technical matters and sequencing; monitor baseline progress and coordinate schedule recovery actions.
- Review method statements, ITPs, work procedures, shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate consultant and client inspections, approvals, technical queries, and interfaces across structural, architectural, MEP, and finishes work.
- Inspect workmanship and materials; ensure HSE compliance; resolve site conflicts and avoid rework.
- Coordinate procurement and logistics for timely material and equipment delivery; manage variations and change orders with commercial and quantity-surveying teams.
- Mentor site engineers and foremen; report progress, risks, resource needs, and technical issues to the Project Manager.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- At least 13 years in building construction, including at least 8 years in Dubai.
- Proven delivery record in high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
- Strong familiarity with UAE authority approvals, including Trakhees, DDA, and Dubai Municipality.
