Role overview

Site execution and management

• Oversee daily site execution against approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources in coordination with the project program.
• Direct project and site engineers on technical issues, work sequencing, and site execution challenges.
• Monitor progress against the baseline program, identify delays, and implement recovery actions with the planning team.
• Review and approve method statements, ITPs, and work procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements in coordination with HSE.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on inspections, approvals, and site technical queries.

Quality, coordination, and reporting

• Conduct site inspections to check workmanship, design details, and material use.
• Resolve civil, MEP, and finishes conflicts to support smooth execution and avoid rework.
• Monitor site engineers' and foremen's performance, provide technical mentoring, and ensure accountability.
• Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and site documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Manage variations and change orders with the commercial/quantity surveying team.
• Coordinate structural works, architectural finishes, and MEP execution interfaces.
• Review as-built drawings and ensure accurate documentation of site changes.
• Report progress, risks, resource requirements, and technical issues to the Project Manager.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 13 years of building construction experience, including at least seven years in Dubai.
• Proven track record delivering high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
• Strong familiarity with UAE authority approval processes, including Trakhees, DDA, and Dubai Municipality.
• Four years of Construction Manager experience required; ten years of high-rise building construction experience required.
