  • Expected:
  • Degree with a minimum of 20+ years Oil and Gas industry experience, including at least 5 years on major capital projects, (> 500 M USD) with Construction Management and Site Management focus
  • Experience within an Oil and Gas operating company is also highly desired and may be considered in lieu of capital project experience
  • Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, with a strong command of the English language.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively for multi-week periods and have the flexibility to adjust work location to support project needs
  • Must be qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa
  • And Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all construction activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project execution.
  • Manage construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors on site.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress against schedule and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and client teams to resolve construction issues.
  • Manage construction budgets, resources, manpower, and equipment utilization.
  • Review and approve construction methods, work packs, and execution strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate construction risks, delays, and productivity challenges.
  • Conduct site inspections, progress meetings, and performance reviews.
  • Provide regular progress reports and recommendations to project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within an Oil and Gas operating company is also highly desired and may be considered in lieu of capital project experience
