Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of construction inspection experience
- Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, or Construction Management preferred

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, or Construction Management preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary field inspector for water infrastructure projects
- Monitor contractor activities and prepare detailed daily reports
- Verify compliance with specifications, standards, and procedural manuals
- Communicate directly with contractors regarding conformance issues
- Identify and document potential changes to the contract scope
- Maintain master as-built and record drawing documentation
- Attend progress meetings and review schedule performance
- Assist in developing project-specific QA/QC standards and documentation
- Coordinate field testing and inspections per contract requirements
- Review and submit test reports for project turnover
- Document inspections, non-compliance notices, and corrective actions
- Track force account work and document labor, equipment, and materials used
- Review monthly contractor pay estimates for accuracy
- Prepare and manage punch lists for incomplete or deficient work
