Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years as a Resident Engineer or Construction Manager with 2+ years of water / wastewater facilities experience or similar experience.
  • Associate's degree in engineering, construction management, or a closely related field of study.
  • Key Skills and Abilities:
  • 10 or 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety Training. Experience with the MS Office Suite (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams). Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 Professional Project Management and/or Microsoft Project. Experience managing construction budgets and schedules, cost estimating, and change order negotiation. Experience with various construction document management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, or a closely related field of study.
  • Client experience and knowledge in the greater Columbus area.
  • Active participation in a regional or national professional association.
  • Construction-related credentials, such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
  • PE or FE with intent to earn PE.
  • Inspection certifications, such as for AWS/CWI, ICC, ACI, and/or NACE
  • Confined Space Entry Training

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
