Connected Asset Data Specialist – Regulatory Compliance

Role overview

Job duties

• Contribute to established tools and processes for regulatory compliance and data governance.
• Work with design teams on product and application compliance reviews.
• Review Operations and Maintenance Manuals, Special Instructions, and other technical publications for compliance coverage.
• Monitor changing standards and data regulations, and communicate requirements to team members and clients.
• Develop and monitor compliance metrics.
• Represent the company in industry association engagements and work with regulatory bodies on draft legislation and regulations.
• Manage complex projects and lead teams through challenging technical issues.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, engineering technology, or a similar field from an accredited college or university.
• A non-technical degree is acceptable if job-related experience requirements are met.
• At least 4 years of job-related experience in engineering, data science, or a compliance-related role.

Additional candidate strengths

• Experience with radio or data communications, asset connectivity, telematics certification, data regulations, or digital app development is valued.
• Engineering development or validation experience with mobile machines, engines, or power systems is valued.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of complex engineering concepts and applications are valued.
• Arabic and English are listed as language strengths; French is a plus.
• The role calls for technical communication, collaboration across diverse backgrounds, negotiation, advocacy, and project leadership.

Location and work arrangement

• The position is located in Dubai, UAE.
• The role is fully office-based, with five days per week in the office when not traveling for business.
• The position may require up to 25% travel; domestic relocation assistance is available.
